Funeral services for Susie G. McNeil Parr, 89, of Rosenberg, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 26, 2014 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg with Rev. Deborah Prihoda officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. Susie was born on March 31, 1925 in East Bernard to Clyde Acie McNeil and Susie Ester Webb McNeil. She was member and former Sunday School Teacher at First Assembly of God in Rosenberg. Susie was also a past 4H Club Leader. She took great pride in growing and nurturing plants and enjoyed watching them grow. She also enjoyed sewing. She passed away on December 22, 2014 in Richmond. Susie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend that will be truly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Susie McNeil; son, Jimmy Lloyd Parr; and her siblings, Clyde McNeil, Acie McNeil, Uldean Parr and Dorothy McNeil. Susie is survived by her husband of 70 years, Lloyd Parr; children, Robert Parr and wife, Beverly, Maurice Parr and wife, Diana, Jeffry Parr and wife, Gayle, Rocky Parr and wife, Eden, and Dorcas Haug and husband, Karvel; grandchildren, Casey Wells, Robby Parr and wife, Carissa, Kate Silvernail and husband, Adam, Eric Parr, Nicholas Parr and wife, Amanda, Ashley Rainosek and husband, Jeff, Delmus Peschel, Karvel Haug, Jr., Brandon Parr and wife, Heidi, Joshua Parr and wife, Liz Velazco, Dustin Anthony, Jackie Parr, and Courtney Koenig and husband, Kyle; 11 great grandchildren; along with numerous other family and friends. Pallbearers will include her grandsons: Robby Parr, Eric Parr, Nicholas Parr, Delmus Peschel, Karvel Haug, Jr., Brandon Parr, Joshua Parr and Dustin Anthony. Honorary pallbearers will include Mary Helen Whitlow, Effie Oberhoff, Robbie Beal, Adam Silvernail, Jeff Rainosek, Raynor Kumaga and Kyle Koenig. Memorials may be made to First Assembly of God, P.O.
