Sherrie Roberts

Sherrie Roberts of Friendswood, Texas, passed away on December 5, 2024, at the age of 81, after a courageous battle with cancer that she faced with remarkable strength and grace. Born in Ft. Worth, Texas, to Donald and Marjie Scrivner, Sherrie was a beacon of love and compassion in the lives of those who knew her. Sherrie's passion for rescuing dogs and cats was a testament to her kind spirit; she dedicated countless hours to ensuring that these animals found loving homes. Her heart was as big as her love for her furry friends, and her efforts made a profound difference in their lives. Beyond her compassion for animals, Sherrie was a gifted artist. She found joy in creating beautiful paintings and crafts, sewing, and sharing her love of music through playing the stand-up bass, guitar, banjo, mandolin and piano - or any other instrument you put in front of her. Her creative talents not only enriched her life but also brought joy to everyone around her. Family was at the core of Sherrie's existence. She adored her close-knit family and fostered deep connections with each member. Whether it was through laughter-filled gatherings, crafting nights, or simply being present, Sherrie created beautiful memories that will forever be cherished. It was her role as a mother and grandmother that filled her heart with the greatest pride. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and creativity that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. Though she will be dearly missed, Sherrie's spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Rest in peace, sweet Momo; you will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Survivors include her loving daughters, Rhonda Delany (Jim Delany), and Becky Parker (Michael Krail); grandchildren, Caitlin McGregor (Cory Kacal), Courtney Noiseux (Devin Noiseux) Matthew Delany, Mason Hire, Megan Delany, Taylor Williams (Nick Williams), Chris Delany (Lauren Delany), and Mike Delany (Katie Delany); great grandchildren Luke Delany, Sloane Delany, Camila Delany, Hadley Williams, and soon to be Baby Girl Delany.
