Rebecca Ann Collum

Rebecca Ann Collum, 72, of Sugar Land, Texas, passed away on May 18, 2026. She was born on March 20, 1954, in Sugar Land to her parents, Clara and Franklin Lubojasky. Rebecca spent most of her life in Sugar Land, where she attended Lakeview Elementary, Dulles Middle School, and Dulles High School. Known for her vibrant personality, she was well loved by her classmates and was honored as Band Queen and Prom Queen her senior year. She later attended Sam Houston State University. Following college, Rebecca built a long and successful career with Fluor Daniel in Sugar Land. She was a devoted member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, where she was especially known for cooking hamburgers at the annual church bazaar. She cherished her family deeply, especially the time she spent with her grandchildren. She also looked forward each year to her family reunions in New Braunfels at Heidelberg Lodges. Rebecca will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Frank and Annie Lubojasky; and Anton and Katherine Krolczyk; along with her parents Franklin and Clara Lubojasky. She is survived by her children: Randall Lee Collum Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth; James Franklin Collum (“Frankie”); and Bridey Clara Johnsten and her husband, Richy; as well as their father, Randall Lee Collum Sr. (“Randy”). She is also survived by her siblings, Kay Lowik and her husband, Mark, and Tina Layne and her husband, Doug. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, which includes Lexie Grace Collum, Randall Lee Collum III (“Tripp”), Brooks Aldon Collum, Jax Franklin Collum, Briar Rose Johnsten, Ziggy Rhodes Johnsten, and Zella Ann Raine Johnsten, along with numerous other family members. Visitation will be held on Thursday May 21st, 2026, from 5:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m, with a rosary prayer at 7:00 p.m at Davis Greenlawn Rosenberg. Service will be held on Friday May 22nd, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Greenlawn memorial park. A catered luncheon to celebrate her life with her friends will be held following the service and burial at the Fort Bend Columbus Club, located at 2007 K.C Hall Dr, Rosenberg, TX 77471.
