Pauline Mary Kubeczka

Pauline Mary Kubeczka, 91, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at her home in Richmond. She was born November 22, 1926 in Chappell Hill to Walter Grabarkievtz and Mary Sykowski Grabarkievtz. Pauline was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Needville, Catholic Daughters Court 2340, Polish National Alliance and St. Michael’s Altar Society. She married Theodore Kubeczka January 28, 1950 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg and was married for 53 years until his death in 2003. Survivors include 6 children, JoAnn Duckett, Joseph W. Kubeczka and wife Carolyn, Mary A. Lane and husband Jerry, Peggy Griffin and husband Donnie, Paula Janota and husband Donald, Veronica Wesneski and husband Mark, 2 sisters, Clara Lidiak, Nell Stautberg, brother, Bruno Grabarkievtz and wife Anita, 3 sisters-in-laws, Valerie Cegielski, Caroline Holub, Blanche Twardowski, 19 grandchildren; Christy Hood and husband Calvin, Matt Miles and wife Christie, Billy Miles and wife Elaina, Nicole Zimmerman and husband Josh, Jennifer Davis and husband Mark, Billy Ray Duckett and wife Hazel, Melissa Stavinoha and husband Kyle, Jill Staeb and husband Scott, Joey Kubeczka and wife Renee, Jeff Lane, Laura Riddle and husband Nathan, Amber Schmidt and husband Taylor, Josh Griffin, Donnie Janota, Samantha Garza and husband Tom, Elliot Janota, Brittany Wesneski and fiancé, Cory Foerster, Taylor Marburger and husband Mason, Caitlin Wesneski, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, along with a host of other loving family members and friends. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Theodore Kubeczka, daughter, Cynthia Miles, sister, Connie Bienek, great grandson, Evan Miles, 2 sons-in-laws, Tom Miles and Bill Duckett. The family would like to issue a heartfelt thank you to Father Marty Pham and Houston Hospice El Campo. In Lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Father Marty Pham will officiate the Funeral Mass to be held Friday, March 23, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Needville with burial to follow in West Gethsemane Gardens in Rosenberg. Visitation will be Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 4-8 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Davis Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
