Ortha M. Louviere

Funeral services for Ortha M. Louviere affectionately known by so many as Grandma Lou age 94 of Richmond, Texas will held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, March 22, 2010 in the Chapel at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home, with Father Bill Bartniski of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and Pastor Rudy Lopez of Cornerstone Ministries in Richmond officiating . Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a rosary being recited at 4:00 p.m., on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg. Ortha was born May 8, 1915 in Lafayette, Louisiana to Cora Lee Robin and Maurice Magnon. She died March 19, 2010. Ortha was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother Ninda, six brothers and three sisters, her ex-husband Roy J. Louviere, grandson, Roger Anthony Pitts and son-in-law, Glen A. Pitts. Survivors include her two daughters: Ida Lee Pitts of Richmond, A. Grace Rankin and husband Herman of Llano; granddaughters: Patricia Compton and Carolyn Bush of Richmond, Lisa Seals of Rosenberg, Angela Wright and husband Ron of Llano, grandson; Michael Pitts and wife Cathy of Rosenberg; great grandchildren; Lindsey Andel of Rosenberg, Tiffany Andel, Jordan Compton, Eric Compton, Zachary Compton, Trey Compton and Lauren Bush of Richmond, Tyler Pitts of Brookshire, Natasha Pitts of Richmond, Brittnie Seals and Trevor Alley of Rosenberg, Jacob and Caleb Wright of Llano, and great great granddaughter, Kylie Rayne Nieto. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. Ortha was a very prayerful giving person and will be truly missed, but never forgotten by her loving family and those who affectionately knew her as "Grandma Lou". Pallbearers will include Herman Rankin, Ronald Wright, Jacob Wright, Michael Pitts, Tyler Pitts and Zachary Compton.
