**The funeral home is limited to no more than 10 individuals at a time in the Chapel during the visitation and services** Morgan Taylor Michalec, 25, of Richmond, Texas passed away on April 7, 2020. She was born on February 1, 1995 in Richmond, Texas to George Michalec and Karen Deshazo Michalec. Morgan graduated from Needville High School – Class of 2013. She loved working with children and helping anyone in need of a hand. Morgan never passed up the opportunity to help a stray cat and had two of her own, Lucy and Leo, which she cherished. She will truly be missed by everyone who knew her. Morgan is survived by her mother, Karen Deshazo Michalec; father, George Michalec Sr.; siblings, George Michalec Jr., Kori Pesek and her husband, Ryan, and Mason Michalec; along with numerous aunts and uncles including Marie Armstrong, Mark Deshazo, Judie Shows, Jamie and Seth Douangaphiavong, Luke and Karina Deshazo, and Kelly and Don Arrington. Morgan was also blessed with numerous loving cousins. Morgan is preceded in death by grandparents Odell and Gertrude Michalec, James and Julie Deshazo, uncle Matthew Deshazo, and cousin Ashlynn Deshazo. Morgan was the proud Aunt to her niece, Evelynn and her nephew, George III. A walk-thru visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 15, 2020 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. The immediate family will gather at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 16, 2020 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Extended family and friends are welcome to watch the service via our funeral home website from the comfort and safety of their own home. Burial will follow at Friedens Cemetery in Beasley, Texas.
