Judy C. Indermuehle

- Judy Carolyn Indermuehle, a woman whose heart was as boundless as her faith - Judy was born on June 16, 1944, in Doniphan, Missouri, and left this world on May 30, 2025. In her 80 years, she lived a life of profound love, service, and devotion. Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Adrian and Bertha Venable, her daughter Delane Indermuehle, and her grandson Micah Motes. She is survived by her husband Larry Indermuehle, her children Sydney Motes (husband, Langston Motes), Payton Indermuehle (wife, Ria Indermuehle), and AdriAnn Jahn (husband, Darrick Jahn). She also is survived by her seven grandchildren: Payton Indermuehle Jr., Trace Indermuehle, Madison Motes; McKenna Motes; McKayla Motes, Sterling Jahn; and Sawyer Jahn, and her sister Tammie Knight (husband Dan Knight) and their children, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Judy’s greatest joy was her family. She found immense happiness in the presence of her husband, Larry, whom she married on February 6, 1965. Together, over the 60 years they shared, they built a life filled with love and shared faith, raising three children and welcoming seven grandchildren. Family was not just important to Judy—it was her greatest blessing and her most cherished calling. Judy’s love did not stop at her own family. She had a heart for service, dedicating herself to helping others in ways that left lasting impacts. Through Friend to Friend ministries, she taught immigrants English, giving them the gift of communication and connection. She worked tirelessly with Prison Fellowship, assisting inmates as they pursued their GEDs, offering them hope and encouragement for a better future. She was honored with a National award from her service through Prison Fellowship. She volunteered at Second Mile Ministries and the Women’s Pregnancy Center, extending compassion to those in need, reminding them that they were never alone. Yet above all, Judy’s life was guided by her unwavering faith. Her love for the Lord was her compass and foundation, shaping every decision, every interaction, and every moment she lived. She was a woman of deep conviction, one who sought to reflect Christ’s love in all that she did. She did not merely speak of faith—she embodied it. She walked with grace, lived with conviction, and served with humility, always pointing others toward the hope and love of Jesus Christ. As we remember Judy today, we do not mourn without hope. Instead we celebrate her and her legacy that lives on in the lives she touched, in the family she nurtured, and in the love that continues to shine through those who knew her. Judy’s journey on this earth may have come to an end, but her spirit remains. She is with the Lord she loved so dearly, reunited in perfect peace. And though we will miss her presence, we find comfort in knowing that she has entered into the eternal joy she so faithfully prepared for.
