Jeanette Kahleh

Jeanette Kahleh, beautiful wife, mom, grandmother, was blessed to live a long life and passed away on September 15, 2023, at the age of 94. She was surrounded by loved ones, who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest. Her pleasant and gracious personality was contagious to everyone she met. She loved Jesus and shared His love with all. She was a great woman of prayer and was blessed to be prayed for by others. She loved life, her family, and church family. Her favorite scripture was Mathew 6:33 Seeking God first.. Her Lebanese culture was a big part of her life, which always included family gatherings, laughter, the dance "Dabke," and Lebanese food, especially grape leaves prepared by her granddaughter Lori. Family was her heart and when you left after a visit she always stood at the door and waved until you were out of sight. She was raised in Brooklyn, NY and met her husband Robeen (Habibi) the love of her life from Jerusalem and were married for 44 wonderful years. Robeena, as she was lovingly called, received the name from Angela Lansbury. She loved it because it was a combination of her husband's name, Robeen, with her name. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Jeanette. She loved red cardinals, dark chocolate, Chanel No. 5, red roses, great pizza, whip cream with whip cream, the movie Pride & Prejudice and all bible stories & Jerusalem. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robeen; son, Robeen, Jr.; sisters, Gloria, Violet, and Lorraine. She is survived by her children, Saleim (Melanie), Richard, Joyce, Janet (Brant); Grandchildren, Rich, Jr. (Shelley), Lori, Taylor, Mitchell, Saleim II, Karah Grace, Simeon, Hannah Joy, Elianah Shalom, Samuel Zachariah; Great Grandchildren, Landon, Lexi, Hailey Jean, Owen; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Terry Blvd., Rosenberg, Texas. Burial to immediately follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Please come and visit with the family from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
