Consuelo Beserra

About our beloved Connie: Ms. Consuelo Beserra is also affectionately known by her staff as Connie. She was 58 years old, born on July 01, 1965, entered Eternal life, and went home to our Lord on March 08, 2023. Her staff was at her side as they celebrated her last moments as she transitioned into eternity. Ms. Connie was a part of our RSSLC family for over 55 years. She enjoyed having her own room and hitting her soft tabletop, making noises over and over. She particularly enjoyed watching various TV shows with Spanish conversation and music, including telenovelas. Ms. Connie enjoyed going to the Snoezelen Room, holding and manipulating tactile objects. Ms. Connie regularly participated in the Friday social events on campus, including listening to music of all kinds, going for walks, and Cushman rides. Her love for going into the classroom engaged her in smiling, making noises, and getting excited. She also enjoyed holding soft objects, especially her stuffed monkey and a whole chest of stuffed animals. She enjoyed staff interaction especially speaking in Spanish, and liked to sit at the table in her living room and be read to, play games, and look at magazines. She also enjoyed going on off-campus trips and recreational activities. Her smile was infectious and would brighten up the faces of her staff daily. Ms. Connie will always be remembered for her GRACE and sense of humor. All who know her will miss Ms. Connie’s enthusiasm and sense of trust. The Staff at TRD was very supportive of everything Ms. Connie was part of. They truly cared and loved her every shift, every day, and every heartbeat. We will miss our Connie, but her memory will always live in the love of our Hearts Forever. When we live by love, we live the Best! Father God, thank you for Consuelo Beserra, her family, and her friends. We thank you for all the memories made here; may they be a blessing to all here at TRD and all over our campus. Let the Holy Spirit comfort the hearts of all who miss her and remind us that our separation is only temporary. Lead each of us safely through this life to heaven’s shore, where we will gather around your throne to worship and praise you throughout all eternity. Thank you for loving and giving us eternal life through your son, Jesus Christ. We lift up all those who are facing illness today. We ask that you bring healing, comfort, and peace to their bodies. Calm their fears and let them experience the healing power of your love. In Jesus’ name. Amen. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday March 29, 2023 in the chapel at Davis Greenlawn Funeral home with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until service time in the Chapel.
