Benny M. Nombrano

Our family was blessed with our daddy, Benny M. Nombrano for 72 years. He was a very proud father, grandfather, and a wise man. He loved classic cars, dancing, music, friends, and the spring season. He joined his heavenly family on April 11, 2011 which includes his father, Fredrick Nombrano; his mother, Ruby L. Martinez; brother, Alfred Nombrano; and sister, Emilia Garza. His loving family members include his wife Gloria whom he was married to for 49 years; his sons, Benny Nombrano Jr., and James Nombrano; his daughter, Glenda Nombrano Torres and husband, Hector; sister, Linda Hernandez and husband, Antonio; and brother, Manuel Garza and wife, Mary; family friends, Isabel and Lydia Torres and other close family members. He devoted his time to his family especially his grandchildren, only grandson, Randy Torres and only granddaughter, Rebecca Torres who were his pure joy. Services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, April 15, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Rosenberg and burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Visitation will be held 4 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m., Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg. Pallbearers will be Benny Nombrano Jr., James Nombrano, Hector Torres, Manuel Garza, Isabel Torres, and Rene Mendoza. Honorary Pallbearers will be grandson Randy Torres.
