Becky Boswell Crawford

Becky Marie Boswell Crawford, age 49, of Rosenberg, Texas, left planet Earth to join her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in Heaven, on Sunday, November 23, 2014. Her favorite two people in the world to talk about, to anyone who would listen, was her daughter, who survives her, Kassie "Little Bear" Crawford Sukiennik, now married to Brian Sukiennik, and her grandson, Rooke, age 2. Loving others came naturally to Becky, who arrived on May 5, 1965, to her adoring parents, the late Dr. Samuel R Boswell, who delivered her, and his widow, Mary Lou Boswell, who now survives them both. Becky was also blessed with, and survived by, a large and loving family: sister Jan and her husband, Wes Stoddard, their three children and four grandchildren; sister Cathy Early, her son and grandson; sister Judy and her husband, Denis Hafer, their two children and four grandchildren; brother Sam R Boswell, Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth Jones, and their four children; brother Joe Boswell and his wife, Cathi Cross, their six children and nine grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins, and more friends than stars in the sky, who loved her heart and will forever miss her infectious smile and energetic love of life. Becky's primary hobby was friends, although she never knew a stranger. Being a friend of Becky's was like being in "The Club," and she culled them from everywhere. Born and raised in Rosenberg, Texas, she was a member of the Lamar Consolidated High School graduating class of 1983, afterward going on to Southwest Texas State University to earn her Bachelor's of Art in Accounting. She was a Sr. Buyer/Purchaser for oil and gas. She was known for her love of music and especially of being a devoted Stevie Nicks fan, references to which came up frequently in conversations with her or pictures on Facebook of yet another concert she had attended. True to the way she lived her life, Becky did not leave us in despair, but left deep deposits in all of our hearts of her kindness and love, to light the way and remind us of where she is now and how we can see her once again someday. A Celebration of Life to honor and remember Becky will be held at Davis-Greenlawn on Saturday, November 29, at 10:00 a.m. Condolences may be sent to 316 Pecan Park Drive, Rosenberg, Texas 77471.
