Beatrice Ann Polak Lehman August 22, 1940 – February 15, 2026 Beatrice Ann Polak Lehman, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home on February 15, 2026, at the age of 85. Bea’s presence in the lives of those she touched will be deeply missed, but her legacy of compassion, grace, and love of Jesus will continue to inspire all who knew her. Beatrice was born on August 22, 1940, in Rosenberg, Texas, to Charlie and Georgia Polak. She grew up on the family farm in Fairchilds, Texas, with her two brothers, Milton and Daniel. She graduated from Needville High School in the Class of 1958 and married her high school sweetheart, Carl Lehman, in 1959. Together, they raised three children. While Beatrice’s children were young, she was a devoted stay-at-home mom who nurtured not only her own children but also many others in her care. Her warmth and ability to connect with anyone made her truly special---a gift she later used in her career, where she was known for her charm and determination “to make a sale and close the deal”. A faithful member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Needville, Bea lived her Catholic faith daily. She dedicated many years to teaching Confirmation and found strength and peace in praying the Daily TV Mass and rosary. In her younger years, Bea enjoyed traveling with Carl and dear friends from work. She loved attending her grandchildren’s games and spending time with family. Bea hosted countless holidays, blessing everyone with her delicious cooking and generous spirit. She especially treasured time spent with her friends, affectionately known as the “Golden Girls,” playing dominoes and sharing laughter. Bea’s kindness, wisdom, and generosity have left a profound mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She taught by example the values of empathy, forgiveness, hard work, and unwavering love for family. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and countless friends. Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Lehman; her parents, Charlie and Georgia Polak; her father- and mother-in-law, Charlie and Hermina Lehman; and her brother- and sister-in-law, Ben and Barbara Lehman. She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Bosak; her sons, Randall Lehman and wife Carol, and Russell Lehman and wife Tammy; grandchildren Hanna Lindemann and husband Derek, Corey Lehman and wife Tiffany, Lacey Bosak, Shelby Muniz and husband Derek, Shea Lehman and wife Savannah, and Colton Lehman; and great-grandchildren Jaxon, Corbin, and Griffin Muniz, Cooper and Jace Lindemann, Georgia and Harrison Lehman, and Jack Lehman. She is also survived by her brothers, Milton Polak and Daniel Polak and his wife, Diane; her sister- and brother-in-law, Jo Ann and Bill Buchan; her special cousin, Evelyn Bernshausen; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cherished friends. Bea was blessed with wonderful caregivers who brought comfort and companionship during her final years. The family extends heartfelt thanks to Soyla Martinez, Barbara Sims, Sharon Charanza, and the compassionate team at Windsor Hospice and Palliative Care Services. Visitation, Rosary, and Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 24th at St. Michael’s Catholic Church (9214 Main St., Needville, TX) Visitation: 9:30-10:30 AM Rosary: 10:30 AM Funeral Mass: 11:00 AM with celebrant Father Kristopher Fuchs. Graveside services will follow immediately at Davis-Greenlawn Cemetery. The family warmly invites all to a reception immediately following the graveside services at St. Michael’s Family Life Center. Helping to honor Beatrice as pallbearers will be Corey Lehman, Shea Lehman, Colton Lehman, Derek Lindemann, Derek Muniz, and Scott Polak. Honorary pallbearers will be Calvin Lehman, Jaxon Muniz, Cooper Lindemann, Corbin Muniz, Jace Lindemann, Harrison Lehman, Griffin Muniz, and Jack Lehman. Memorial contributions may be made in Beatrice’s memory to St. Michael’s Catholic Church (PO Box 95, Needville, TX 77461).
