Robert Lewis Strauss

Robert Lewis Strauss, 78, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022, at his home in Richmond surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 26, 1943, in Reading, Pennsylvania to Lewis Richard Strauss and Pauline Julia Stopp Strauss. Robert was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Richmond. He worked in upper management in the steel industry until his retirement. His family is grateful for all your loving prayers and support. Bob was an amazing husband, father and grandfather. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Patricia Marie Strauss, 3 daughters, Dawn Marie Knoble and husband Paul, Michaele Ann Seip and husband Eric, Renee Lynn Petro and husband Mark, 6 grandchildren, Patrick Robert Seip, Leah Grace Knoble, Elizabeth Pauline Knoble, Bridgette Marie Seip, Kelly Warren Petro and Reese Catherine Petro along with a host of other loving family members and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, James Strauss and sister, Susan Zerby. A memorial Mass will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Richmond with Father Lawrence W. Jozwiak and Father Joseph Ho presiding.
