Funeral services for Daniel Theodore Sulak, 91 of Richmond, TX are set for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 507 S. 4th Street, Richmond, TX 77469, with Father Joseph Ho, Ss. R., officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg, TX. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 8, 2021, in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher Lester, Joseph Anderson, Jr., Blake Anderson, Bryan Greer, Austin Greer, Cody Elliott, Justin Grudziecki and Terry McNeil. Daniel was born on November 9, 1929 to Mary Pisklak Sulak and William Sulak in Wallis, TX. He died November 1, 2021 in Richmond, TX. His family moved to Richmond, TX from East Bernard, TX when he was 19 years old. He served his country in the military from May 27, 1955 until he was honorably discharged on May 24, 1957. He retired from Imperial Sugar Company after 45 years. Daniel was very talented musically and he played lead guitar and fiddle in a country & western band called The Country Swingers for a number of years. He was a long time member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Mary Sulak along with his 9 siblings, Leonard Sulak, Stella Chernohorsky, Virginia Hauser, Richard Sulak, Martha Sulak, Ann Nichter, William Sulak, Mary Venglar and Dolores Schneider. Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years Marjorie Rychlik Sulak; children, Melissa Anderson and husband Joseph, Melanie Lester and husband Roger and Monica Greer; 8 grandchildren, Amanda Anderson and significant other Terry McNeil, Christopher Lester and significant other Jaime Kornberg, Brittany Elliott and husband Cody, Lauren Grudziecki and husband Justin, Joseph Anderson, Jr. and wife Whitney, Blake Anderson and wife Lea, Bryan Greer and Austin Greer; 5 great grandchildren, Brody, Braylee and Kaylee Elliott, Collin Grudziecki and Audrey Anderson. A special thank you to our angels from hospice Medcore Debbie Kay, Yeti and Sherrie Thomas who went above and beyond their call of duty of love and care.
