Cheryl Cullar, 75, of Katy, Texas passed away on January 11, 2022. She was born on June 22, 1946 in Denver, Colorado to the late Larry and Winnie Slusher. She was the Area Manager with Ft. Bend ISD for over 20 years before retiring in 2020. Cheryl was a member of the Eastern Star. Her hobbies included ceramics and tending to her flowers. She treasured the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Cheryl enjoyed helping others even after she retired. This loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend will truly be missed. Survivors include her sons, Shawn Cullar (wife Stephanie) and Brandon Cullar (wife Jennifer); grandchildren, Austin, Gavin and Addison Cullar, and Tyler McKay; brothers, Tarry Slusher (wife Loretta) and Mike Slusher (wife Janet); along with a host of extended family and friends. A service celebrating Cheryl’s life will take place at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 29, 2022 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg with Pastor Jeff Gantz officiating.
