Brenda Joyce Strother

November 9, 1951 - April 12, 2022

Brenda Joyce Strother went to be with the Lord on April 12, 2022 at the age of 70. She was born to Melba and George Frazier on November 9, 1951. Brenda was a two time kidney transplant recipient but that didn't stop her from living life to the fullest. Brenda had a kind spirit, generous heart, and the gift of seeing the good in everyone. She loved the outdoors, gardening, hunting and fishing and anything with a motor that could go fast. Born in Amarillo, Tx She spent most of her time living in the serene and beautiful state of Alaska. She was known by Many nicknames “Little Red”, “Yamaha Mamma”, but was best known as Captain of the F/V Brenda TJ. Brenda was a devote Christian and her faith showed by her grace and glowing personality. She is survived by her husband John of 52 years, sister Jean Gerstner, brother Russell Sonberg and Debbie, son Thomas and wife Terri, grandchildren David and wife Megan, Hanna, and great-granddaughter Olivia Hope. Funeral services will be held at Davis Greenlawn, May 6th at 6pm. Join us in celebrating her life and honoring her by laying her to rest with our lord and savior Jesus Christ.
