    Allen Douglas Mulder

    December 7, 1989 - February 14, 2022

    Allen Douglas Mulder, 32, of Katy, Texas passed away unexpectedly on February 14, 2022. He was born December 7, 1989 in Houston, Texas to Herbert Thomas Mulder III (Tom) and Teresa Mourning Mulder. He was a true outdoorsman. He loved visiting Colorado, hiking, snowboarding, fishing and being in the great outdoors. Allen had a big heart – always putting others before himself. He was willing to help anyone in need. Allen will truly be missed. Allen is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Herbert Jr and Juno Mulder. Survivors include his parents, Tom & Teresa Mulder; brother, Andrew Mulder and wife, Lindsay and their children, Pierce and Melanie Mulder; maternal grandparents, Keith “Tedd” Mourning and Janet Tuttle Mourning; along with numerous family, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, longtime childhood friends from Pecan Grove, and friends made in recent years through his work. Allen is also survived by his fiancé, Ashley Cox and her children, Lexi and Stella Cox. A service celebrating Allen’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 19, 2022 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. The family will receive guests starting at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, for those wishing, please consider making a donation to the Charity of your choice.
