Paul E. Hall

Paul E. Hall, 91, of Richmond, Texas passed away on January 22, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on July 11, 1933 in Bon Wier, Texas to Marvin J. Hall and Etta Lea (Jones) Hall. Paul owned Coastal Rubber Company along with KaJay Flying Service. He was truly dedicated to his family and instilled a hard work ethic in them. This loving husband, father, PaPa, brother and friend will truly be missed. In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by two brothers, Welton and Kenneth Hall. Survivors include his wife of over 68 years, Dorthy Jane (Gunter) Hall; daughters, Paula K. Auburg and her husband, Taylor and Amanda “Janie” Barta; siblings, Joann Key, Wayne Hall and his wife, Yvonne and Thomas Hall and his wife, Mercedes. Paul’s legacy will live on through his grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, Sarah Thompson and her husband, Lane (Ephram Guntle and his wife, Abigail, Greenlee Martinez and Piper Thompson); Megan Pias and her husband, Adam (Tanner, Ava & Elliott Pias); Zachary Edward Barta (Jace Barta); Clayton Auburg and his wife, Chrissy (Diana & Paul Auburg); Brian Auburg and his wife, Tammy; Carl Auburg and his wife, Jennifer (Presley, Cooper & Barrett); and Eric Auburg and his wife, Minori (Megumi, Kanna & Kira Auburg); along with extended family, friends and former colleagues. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. followed by services at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 28, 2025 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Pallbearers will include Clayton Auburg, Zachary Barta, Larry Hall, Roger Hall, Greg Brown and Adam Pias. Wayne Majors will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer. For those wishing, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
