Nancy Lee Waggoner

Through GOD's grace, Saturday morning, April 26th 2014, our mother, Nancy Lee Nash Waggoner, 76 passed from our caring, loving arms to HIS embrace. Her death has saddened us beyond description, she is in our hearts and we will miss her dearly but are assured of her everlasting life. She is now free of the pain and suffering she endured for many years and is most assuredly in the house of our LORD and SAVIOR Jesus Christ. Second to her faith she valued her family most. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her joy. Nancy was born in Mishawaka, Indiana on March 3rd, 1938. The family moved to Texas in 1944 living initially in Texas City but moved a short time later to La Marque. She graduated high school from La Marque High School, met and married our father Jerry Waggoner Sr. January 18th, 1956. Through the passing days she was visited and loved by her family, friends and caregivers. At the end of her life she was surrounded by immediate family, her brother Robert and the caring support of the Richmond Health Care Center, Hospice Plus and Continuous Care. She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Jerry Waggoner Sr. her parents, Lawrence and Treva Nash, her sister Pat Kovar, her brother Jack Nash, and her sister Carol Sadberry and many sisters and brother in laws. She is survived by her daughter Nanette Johnson and husband Danny of Rosenberg, Texas, and her son Jerry Waggoner Jr. and wife Jill of League City, Texas. Her surviving family includes her brother Robert Nash and Wanita Zimmerman , her sister in law Virgina Nash, her sister Barbara Gould, her sister Phyllis Gray and husband Jerry Gray, brother in law Wayne Waggoner and wife Doris, brother in law Virgil Waggoner, and sister in law Ginger Jackson, 9 Grandchildren; Shawna Bunyard and husband James, Zachary Morreale, Jared Waggoner, Joshua Johnson and wife Jennifer, Dillon Johnson, Jonathan Waggoner and wife Lauren, Cody Johnson, Joseph Waggoner, Treva Bialas and husband James; Great-grandchildren Jimmy Bunyard, Tanner Bialas, Clay Waggoner, Olivia Johnson, Avery Johnson, Jonathan Waggoner Jr., Lane Bialas, Lynlie Bialas and Emma Johnson. We would be remiss to fail to acknowledge the enormous support of Hospice Plus, Continuous Care and the Richmond Health Care Center. Vicky thank you for the constant vigil. Linda thank you so much. Natalie, we are forever thankful to you and will never forget the precious time and loving care you gave our mother. Miss Wilma we have been so blessed to have had the opportunity to have met you. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 29th from 3 to 6 PM at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel, 3900 B.F Terry Blvd., Rosenberg, Texas. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, April 29th from 6 to 7 PM at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel, 3900 B.F Terry Blvd., Rosenberg, Texas . Graveside service will be conducted Thursday May, 1st at 2 PM at Magnolia Cemetery, Onalaska, Texas.
