Mario J. Perez

Mario Jesus Perez, 52, of Richmond, Texas passed away on February 11, 2024. He was born on April 28, 1971, in Brownsville, Texas to Mario Oscar Perez and Alma Gloria (Balboa) Perez. He loved graphic design and went on to graduate from the Art Institute. Eventually, life took him on a different path in his career. This path led him to Enfold Systems where he worked for the last 15 plus years of his life. Prior to Enfold Systems, Mario worked at the Houston Chronicle, among other companies. Mario loved planning trips and going to Disney World with his family. He was the man behind the camera. He loved making memories and capturing all the big and little moments. He also enjoyed spending time with his two sons and wife watching movies, listening to music, and hanging out. Mario was a wonderful person, and he did everything he could for his wife, two sons and family. His motto was “Family Comes First”. This loving husband, father, brother, uncle, friend, and co-worker will be missed. Mario is preceded in death by both of his parents, Mario Oscar Perez and Alma Gloria (Balboa) Perez; brother, Mario Perez and step-sister, Ivonne Hernandez; stepfather, Raul Hernandez; brother-in-law, Jesus Alberto Castaneda Cift; numerous aunts and uncles, cousins; and second cousins. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Maria Teresa (Trevino) Perez; sons, Tristan and Sebastian Perez; siblings, Hector Perez and his wife, Sandra Perez, Monica Perez and Mariannela Perez; step siblings, Martha Isela Schneider and her husband, Rob and Raul Hernandez and his wife, Ruby; mother in-law, Teresa Davila; sister in-law, Laura Trevino; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, extended family and a host of friends. Private Viewing: 12:00 - 1:00 pm.
