Madeline Jodarski Muegge

Funeral services for Madeline Jodarski Muegge, 86, of Rosenberg, will be held at 10:00 A. M., Wednesday, July 7, 2010 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 6, 2010 in the State Room of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Madeline was born February 13, 1924 to Frank John Jodarski and Magdalene Wischnewshy Jodarski in Richmond on the A. P. George Ranch. She passed away July 3, 2010 in Sugar Land after a brief illness. Madeline grew up on the A. P. George Ranch and attended school there through the eighth grade. She then attended Richmond High School graduating in 1942. After high school with World War II raging, she volunteered her services to work in Dallas for North American building airplanes to support the war. This was a job she was very proud of. In 1944, she married Louis L. Muegge in Laredo where Louis was stationed in the Army. They were married for 58 years. Madeline is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Magdalene Jodarski; her husband, Louis L. Muegge; her daughter and son-in-law, LaVonne Muegge Knowles and Robert G. Knowles of Tomball; brothers, Sylvester, Alfred, Frankie and George A. Jodarski; and sisters, Mildred Landry, Ethel Seiler and Elbertha Eaves. She is survived by her sons, Larry L. Muegge and wife, Marsha, of Katy, and Mark W. Muegge and wife, Connie, of Boling; daughter, Beverly Sbrusch and husband, Dennis, of Beasley; grandchildren, Amy Sbrusch, Matthew Sbrusch and wife, Lacey, Hannah Muegge, Samuel Muegge, Allison Muegge, Angela Muegge Jennings and husband, Tommy, Wesley Muegge and wife, Jennifer, Melody Knowles Smith and husband, David, and Robert B. Knowles and wife, Yvonne; 9 great grandchildren with a set of twins on the way; twin sister, Florine Gibson and husband, Rex, of Alvin; sister, Rhydonia Cowart of Kingwood; sisters-in-law, Cecelia Jodarski of Rosenberg and Selma Klingsporn of Wallis; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Pallbearers will include Samuel Muegge, Matthew Sbrusch, Thomas Jennings, Robert B. Knowles, Johnny King and George E. Jodarski.
