Local services for Julious Hoyt McInvale, 86, of Richmond, Texas will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 30, 2009 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg with Rev. Tom Bain officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 29, 2009 in the Stateroom of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Visitation will also be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., on Friday, October 2, 2009 in the Parlor of Chapelwood Funeral Home in Texarkana, Texas. A graveside service will follow at the Chapelwood Memorial Gardens. Julious was born September 15, 1923 to Henry McInvale and Rebecca Ashley McInvale in the community of Liberty - Eylau, Bowie County, Texas. He was employed by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for 26 years, 10 months and retired on June 30, 1984. He served our country in the United States Army from January 1943 to January 1946 with Company "B" 853rd Engineer AVN Battalion, his company built the "Burma" Road. He passed away September 26, 2009 in Houston, Texas. Julious is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Alta M. McInvale in May of 2009; his parents, Henry and Rebecca McInvale; five brothers and one sister. Julious is survived by sons, Ricky L. McInvale and wife, Betsy and Reggie H. McInvale and wife, Dawn; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Tammy Milam and husband, Steve, and their children, Anna, Jessica, Stephanie and Katie, Scott McInvale and wife, Connie, David McInvale, Hank Dostal, Chris Dostal and wife, Nedra, and their children, Lainey, Samantha, Elizabeth and Brady, Ginny Kramer and husband, Darrel, and their children, Robert and wife, Jennifer, Justin, Matt and Stephanie, Jason Dostal and wife, Lynette and their children, Dillan and Clayton, Chuck Dostal and wife, Sharon, and their children, Mathew and wife, Jessica, Francesca and Dale, Juliann Newsome and husband, LeeRoy; sisters-in-law, Odessa L. Benson and Betty Davidson and husband, Jim; along with many special nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Pallbearers for the Davis-Greenlawn service will be his grandsons, Scott McInvale, David McInvale, Hank Dostal, Chris Dostal, Jason Dostal and Chuck Dostal. Pallbearers for the interment at Texarkana will be Scott McInvale, David McInvale, Kenneth Pickering, Will Pickering, Tim Connor and Kurt Connor.
