Joe Z. Gracia August 22, 1930 - January 2, 2024 Joe was born to Pedro and Carmen Gracia on August 22, 1930 and he entered into eternal rest on January 2, 2024. The family is very saddened for their loss but are consoled by the fact that awaiting Joe on this day was his wife, Jane who departed on June 15, 1986. Also awaiting Joe are his daughter, Raquel and his granddaughter, Jayne Ariana. Joe will be missed by friends and family but immensely missed by his sons, Joe Richard (Josie), Robert (Olga), Ray (Darlene) and his daughter, Rebecca (Chris Montoya). Joe was blessed with 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter. Joe is also survived by his youngest brother, Johnny Gracia and numerous nieces and nephews. Joe retired from KW Industries after 50 years of employment. He was kindly referred to by many as “Papi Joe” or “Daddy Joe” during his tenure at KW Industries. Joe served this great country proudly in the Army during the Korean War and continued throughout his life to respect the service of our military. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the many prayers, condolences, expressions of love and support shown during this time of loss. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 7, 2024 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 8, 2024 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Rosenberg.
