Funeral services for James J. Beebe, Jr., 66, of Richmond will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 9, 2010 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home with interment following at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Pastor Scott Conn will officiate the services. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 8, 2010 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. James Judson Beebe, Jr. was raised the second of four children in the upstate area of Oneida County in Utica, New York. He is preceded in death by his father; James Judson, Sr. and mother Geneviene Beebe. Jim and Tina were married in Las Vegas on July 6, 1987. Their families joined and the children embraced Jim as much as he loved them. They have six children, Evelia Serrano Carlos, Margarita Serrano Duswalt, Gonzalo Serrano, Georgina Serrano Barela, Jacqueline Dunn Robinson, and Brandie Arlene Beebe Love. They now have eleven Grandchildren; Marissa and Brandon Duswalt, Natalie and Madalyn Barela, Van A., Jr. and Kenneth V. Russell, Teresa and Donnie Serrano, and Nicole Cherie, Levester James and Sierra Michelle Love. They have enjoyed their 5 Great-Grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Mary Dawn Schultz, Elizabeth Joan Volz and Melanie Jane Ciborski; along with numerous other family and friends. He served in the Marines, loved his work with S&B Engineers as an inspector before launching his own successful consulting career. He loved to dance, was a faithful provider, dependable, punctual, had a great sense of humor, loved to read, and after his wife and family, the Oilers/ Texans were his favorites. He was known for his potato salad and lasagna but he took the recipe with him. He was a member of the local American Legion as well as Masonic Lodge #664 out of Hartford, New York.
