Guillermo Cabello Hernandez

Guillermo Cabello Hernandez was born June 25, 1921 in Poteet, Texas to Teodoro and Paula Cabello Hernandez. He was a faithful member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Rosenberg. Guillermo was a foster grandparent for over 20 years at the Richmond State School. Known as Willie, Guillermo also enjoyed spending time outdoors, gardening and staying busy. At the age of 88, he went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 14, 2009 in Houston. Visitation will be held from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M., Monday, August 17, 2009 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. A second time of visitation will be held at 8:00 A.M. until 9:30 A.M. on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. An escorted procession will head to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where mass will begin at 10:00 A.M., with Fr. Lee Flores officiating. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery in Rosenberg. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ceferina Hernandez; parents, Teodoro and Paula Hernandez and several siblings. Guillermo is survived by children, Melquiades Hernandez and wife, Maria L., Macario Hernandez and wife, Maria, Adela Balderas and husband, Jesus, Andres Hernandez and wife, Socorro, Maria Gonzalez and husband, Sigifredo, Augustine Hernandez and wife, Isabel, Rudolph Hernandez and wife, Norma, Irma Muniz and husband, Gerald, Irene Arreola and husband, Oscar, Elida Serrano and husband, Guadalupe, Guillermo Hernandez, Jr.; siblings, Ray Hernandez and wife, Helen, Eziquia Garza; thirty-five grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; along with other family members and many friends. Pallbearers will include Macario Hernandez, Jr., Alex Anzaldua III, Augustine Hernandez, Jr., Sigifredo Gonzalez, Jr., Jeremy Hernandez and Pablo Salinas. Honorary Pallbearers will include Anarosa Hernandez, Krystal Gonzalez, Andres Hernandez, Jr. and Gracie Pat Balderas.
