Diana S. (Lengel) Fletcher

Diana Sue (Lengel) Fletcher, 73, of Fulshear, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026. She was born on August 15, 1952, in Burlington, Colorado, to Galen Eugene Lengel and Virginia Marie (Boden) Lengel. Diana was a member of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, National No. 723355. Diana lived a full and meaningful life rooted in faith, family, and service to others. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and cherished friend whose presence brought warmth and joy to all who knew her. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Mark C. Fletcher; sons, Matthew M. Fletcher and his wife, Rachel, and Daniel G. Fletcher and his wife, Meredyth; grandchildren, Whitton, Jones and Addison; along with extended family and friends. Diana dedicated over 36 years of her life to education and counseling, serving as a High School/College Professional Counselor and Educational Diagnostician. She was deeply committed to helping others reach their full potential. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary K–8 and Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado, a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from the University of North Texas, and completed her Post Master Certification as an Education Diagnostician from Texas Women’s University. Her passion for guiding and supporting students left a lasting impact on countless lives. Outside of her professional life, Diana was deeply devoted to the LORD and her family. She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church in Rosenberg, where she joyfully served in the choir and participated in church activities. She loved giving of herself and serving others. Diana treasured time with her family, whether attending her grandchildren’s events (never missing a single one), traveling, camping, playing card games, cooking, and quilting. She embraced new experiences and truly lived life to the fullest. She held a special place in her heart for her daughters-in-law and shared a deep and abiding love with her husband and sons. A service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Calvary Baptist Church in Rosenberg with Pastor Nate Sprinkle officiating. The family will receive guests starting at 12:30 p.m. Diana will be laid to rest at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas at a later date.
