Billie Vic Shelton

Billie Vic Shelton, 93, of Rosenberg, Texas was called to be with our Lord on December 14, 2025. He will be reunited with his beloved wife of 53 years, Hallie R. Shelton, who along with, his parents Morris and Rosie Lee Shelton, brothers Otis, Alvis, Harvey and Lloyd, also with daughter-in-law Debbie Shelton, and nephew Danny Muszynski, preceded him into heaven. Born in McLean, Gray County, Texas on May 1, 1932, Bill was a graduate of McLean High School Class of 1951, a multi-sport and choir McLean Tiger. He joined the U.S. Navy upon graduation and served our country 20 years as a Hospitalman (Corpsman) specializing in X-Ray Technology. He saw combat in Korea and Vietnam Wars, and retired from the Navy in 1971. He attained the rank of Chief Petty Officer. After retiring from the Navy, he moved to Rosenberg, Texas and was X-Ray Technician at Polly Ryon Hospital, and a few other jobs before starting, and completing a 20 year career with the U.S. Postal Service in Richmond, Texas. He was loved and befriended by many people literally world wide. He will be missed and is survived by his sons, Sam Shelton and wife, Becky, Jim Shelton and wife, Rene, Lonnie Shelton and sweetheart, Margarita; grandsons, B.J. Shelton and wife, Fallon, Allan Nichols and wife, Betty, George Klare and wife, Kimberly, Josh Lehman and sweetheart, Rosa, Eric Lehman and wife, Raeven, Jimmy Shelton and wife, Recca; granddaughter, Jordan Ruiz; nephew, Jerry Muszynski and wife, Jane, nephew, Larry Muszynski, niece, Judy Miller and husband, Alan, nephew, Clinton Dollar and wife, Marie, nephew, Travis Dollar and wife, Naja, nephew, David Shelton, niece, Martha Meyers, niece, Donna Casey, nephew, Steven Shelton, niece, Becky Deckard and husband, Kevin, niece, Sandra Bergstresser, niece, LaWanda Horton, and niece, Jeanette Hahn, and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Pastor Greg Garcia will officiate the services. Burial with military honors to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Pallbearers will include Allan Nichols, Brian Cook, Jimmy Shelton, K.B. Kelley, Josh Lehmann and Eric Lehmann. Honorary pallbearer will include B.J. Shelton.
