Amelia C. Villaloboz

Amelia Cantu Villaloboz, 85, of Rosenberg, Texas passed away suddenly on Friday, August 20, 2021. Amelia was born on April 1, 1936 in Rancho Blanco in the Sartartia Plantation in present day Sugar Land to Ramon and Librada (Saenz) Cantu. Amelia was very artistic and enjoyed drawing throughout her life, often writing beautiful messages and scriptures to her children. In her younger days, she was known to have been an excellent seamstress sewing for family and friends. She was a faithful Christian woman who taught herself to play guitar while singing beautiful hymns in church. She was a loving mother to her seven children. This was exemplified even further by her selfless care and devotion to her youngest daughter, Connie. This loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents, Amelia is preceded in death by her first husband, Gregorio G. Ramirez; son-in-law, Raymond V. Burciaga; and brothers, Carlos Cantu and Daniel Cantu. Survivors include her siblings, Rodrigo (Roy) Cantu and Maria Consuelo “Chelo” Becerra. She is also survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Antonio “Tony” Villaloboz; children, Johnny Ray Ramirez (wife Terri Hernandez Ramirez), Anna Ramirez Garcia (husband David M. Garcia), George Ramirez, Michael Ramirez, Judy Ramirez Burciaga, Gregg Ramirez (wife Tiffany Craig Ramirez) and Connie (Consuelo)Ramirez; stepson, Joel Villaloboz and stepdaughter Adriana Gonzales. Amelia was the proud grandmother and great grandmother to Glenda Ramirez, Christopher Ramirez, Daniel Ramirez, David Garcia Jr., Cameron Garcia, Courtney McGuigan, Christian Martinez, Justin Cruz, Caroline Burciaga, Raymond Burciaga II, Gillian Ramirez, Aidan Ramirez, Irene Gonzales, Devan Gonzales, Bianca Villaloboz, Sebastian Villaloboz. Great grandchildren Jordan Privett, Dominic Ramirez, Evan Ramirez, Layla Ramirez, Ethan Ramirez, Braylon Seefurth, Logan McGuigan, Michael McGuigan, Julian Garcia, great, great grandchild Kaston Kerr. The family plans a memorial service at a date to be determined in the immediate future and will notify all family and friends.
