Matthew Douglas Hart Matt was special. Everyone says their brother is special but mine really was. He never spoke in anger. He cried for every occasion- happy tears or sad. He loved to travel and would happily get up and go wherever, whenever, with whoever. He shopped like it was a sport. If you ever needed a push to splurge on yourself, he was always who you reached out for. It meant so much to him to make his dad proud at work. He was the kind of guy who was still best friends with his middle school friends. He was Uncle Matt and loved his role. The way he appreciated food and all the experiences that come with it- I can’t even put it into words. He had found the love of his life and he moved mountains for her. He took his mom out every Valentine’s Day. He was the Easter bunny at Easter, he dressed up as a giant baby for a baby shower, he was Santa every Xmas and he was SO PROUD of it. He showed up hard for his friends for all their accomplishments. He and his sisters were 3 of a kind and shared a right and unbreakable bond. He always watched out for everyone at their worst. Matt died unexpectedly at home the evening of Friday September 1. He was 30 years old. No words can help us feel better, but we do find comfort in knowing that Matthew loved so hard that he truly poured himself into people he cared about, and nothing in the world can take that away. Matt is preceded in death by his grandparents: Eugene Hart Laura Hart Williams Clifford “Gene” Williams Miriam Jacobson Matt is survived by His girlfriend Amy Ngo His parents Douglas Hart and Dawn Hart His uncle Kenneth Wiseman His aunt Liane Jacobson His sisters Amanda Hart-Guajardo and husband, Travis Guajardo, and Melissa Hart His nieces Savannah Brink and Edie Guajardo and his nephews Milo Guajardo and Cody Brink. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 11, 2023 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
