Community Events

Cemetery park clean-up begins the first week of October  All non-regulated items and faded flowers will be picked up.  If you wish to keep these items, be sure to get them picked up from the cemetery before October.

Grief counseling will be held on November 15, 2007 at the Rosenberg location.  For more information or to R.S.V.P., call 281-341-8800.  Grief counseling sessions begin at 7:00 P.M. every 3rd Thursday of the month at the funeral home.  Everyone is welcome.

All Soul's day will be celebrated November 4, 2007.  The service will be held at 2:00 P.M. at West Gethsemane Gardens Cemetery with Father Dan Warden and at 3:00 P.M. at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Father Howard Drabek.  For more information you can call 281-341-8800.

Angel Tree service will be held December 2, 2007 at 2:00 P.M.  Everyone is welcome to come celebrate their loved one by hanging an angel on the Angel tree. Bring your own angel or we have paper angels available.  For more information call 281-341-8800.

Angel Tree Celebration

This annual event held the first Sunday in December is a time of celebration and rememberance of loved ones gone before. Families are invited to place an angel ornament on our Christmas tree commemorating the life of that special someone. Paper angel ornaments which may be personalized are provided or families may bring their own angel ornament. Refreshments are served following to program

Sunrise Service

Held annually each Easter Sunday beginning at 6:30 A.M. in the Chapel. Kolaches and juice served after the service. 

Bi-annual Park Clean Up

Greenlawn Memorial Park and West Gethsemane Cemeteries are cleaned up the 1st week of every April and October. Faded silk flowers, and non-regulation items are picked up.

Grief Counseling

Grief counseling sessions are offered each 3rd Thursday of the month at the funeral home. Light snacks are served right after the grief counseling session. At this time we are working out of the book, “Recovering from the Losses of Life,” by H. Norman Wright.
